We get it—sometimes you just want to delete an account and move on. But Back On Stage is a little different from your average app. Because we deal with real money, real gigs, and real bookkeeping, there are a few important things you should know before you try to delete your account.
So you got invited to Back On Stage by a bandleader, company owner, or someone running gigs. You set up your account, got booked for some shows, maybe got paid through the app.
Now you want to delete your account. Here's what you need to know:
When you join a company in Back On Stage, your account becomes part of that company’s financial and work history—think booking records, payments, tax info, etc.
Companies are legally required to keep these records for 6+ years in many countries. If we delete your account, we’d be deleting that info from their books too. And we can't legally do that without causing problems for the company.
Not unless every company you're connected to agrees to delete their records of you. If you're part of multiple companies, every single one of them would need to contact us and approve the removal.

If you're running your business through Back On Stage, you already know how powerful it is to track bookings, manage payouts, and keep everything in one place.
