As a band leader or music director, maintaining an organized and up-to-date music library is crucial for efficient set list planning and performance preparation. The repertoire module have introduced several enhancements to the music library experience, making it easier than ever to manage your song catalog:
Hover over the song card to reveal additional options, such as the ability to edit the song details or access the full-screen song view.
Select the songs you want to modify, then click the “Actions” dropdown menu then the "Edit Song Details" button.
This will open a spreadsheet-like interface, allowing you to quickly update fields like song title, artist, key, tempo, and more for all the selected tracks.
This is particularly useful if you need to make global changes, such as adding tags or correcting any inaccurate information imported from a CSV file.
The "Files" section of the repertoire module now provides a centralized location to manage all the attachments (PDFs, MP3s, video links) associated with your songs.
You can easily search for specific files, reassign them to different songs, or delete any unnecessary attachments.
When uploading new files, the system will prompt you to link them to the appropriate songs, ensuring everything is properly organized. You can upload Files by clicking the “Import Files” button at the top of the Repertoire page.
The addition of tags in the music library allows you to categorize your songs based on your own criteria, such as genre, tempo, or even specific events (e.g., "First Dance," "Upbeat," "Corporate Gig").
You can create and apply tags to songs individually or in bulk, making it easier to filter and locate the perfect tracks for your upcoming performances.
