Event Description Limitations in iCal

When exporting events to iCal format, it's important to note that there are some limitations regarding text formatting in event descriptions:

Text Formatting Restrictions

iCal does not support formatted text (such as HTML) within event descriptions. This means that the following elements cannot be included:

• Bold text
• Italic text
• Hyperlinks
• Other HTML-based formatting

Impact on Event Information

Due to these limitations:

1. Detailed formatting of event information is not possible.
2. The amount of information that can be effectively presented in the description may be reduced.
3. Direct links back to Back On Stage cannot be included in the event description.

To ensure users have access to complete and formatted event details, we recommend always referring back to the original event page on Back On Stage for the most comprehensive and up-to-date information.
